Week 19 - Flowers and Hurricane Irene Arrives

I took a bunch of photos with my 35mm f/1.8 prime lens - I should use this lens more often as it is fast and produces some nice photos.  I had a tough time selecting each day's photos, some "interesting" self-portraits just barely missed being selected.    Due to Hurricane (now tropical storm) Irene's arrive, I'm able to post this week's photos earlier!

Week 18 - Maine and the 150th Martha's Vineyard Ag Fair

Took a weekend break from Martha's Vineyard this week (boo!) and visited Wells, Maine.  Closed out the week with my first-ever trip to the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Fair with friends and took a bunch of photos.  Too bad I only post one a day - I think I could have posted a handful from the Ag Fair!

Week 17 - E Streeters Running Club

This week we spent the weekend in Westford and Maine - no Martha's Vineyard.  It gave me a chance to take different photos, in particular, an E-Streeters Running Club photo.

Week 15 - 100 Days and Counting...

Week 15 features, you guessed it, some more flower photos.  I've also noticed that it is getting darker after work, which is when I take most of my photos.  At the end of the week a good friend of mine lent me his 70-200mm f/2.8 Nikon zoom lens.  I'll be trying out this lens this week - Sunday's sunset photo below was taken with this incredible (and incredibly expensive!) lens!  This week too, 5 of this week's photos were taken in the Cape Cod/Martha's Vineyard area.

Week 14 - Spectacular Skies

This week's first and last photos were taken in almost the same location - the Cape Poge area on Chappaquiddick.  Interestingly, 5 of this week's 7 photos were taken on Martha's Vineyard.  This may not surprise any of you readers, but did me!
