Week 42 - Pre-Vacation Build-up

Short week this week - 6 days of photos.  Heading to St. John, USVI to take some beach photos, oh and I may do some fly fishing.

Week 41 - Superbowl Fever

The week started with the Patriots winning the AFC Championship!  The week ended with us visiting Martha's Vineyard for the MV Surfcasters Banquet.  The Vineyard was like a ghost town, with hardly any restaurants open.  Still it was relaxing and rejuvenating and with sunny days and Spring-like temperatures, plenty of opportunity for photographs (of course I was in a Church basement for all of the afternoon!).

Also, no flower shots this week.  Several of my readers were getting tired of them - so instead, I included a picture of my new generator!  Enjoy...

This week I decided to post only square photos, all cropped 1x1.   Composition for square photos was different for some subjects, not for others.  It was an interesting project.

Week 38 - Summer-like Weather

The weather this week has been almost Summer-like, at least at the beginning and end of the week.

I experimented with something this week, and the result was photo #262 titled "One Shot, Three Me's".  I've been thinking about making this photo for a while now.  Tonight was my first attempt.  One exposure, multimple face shots of the same person (me).  I was looking for something spooky.   This is one photo (one shutter release), no Photoshop post-processing.

Incidently, 100 more days to go for this project (2012 is a leap year).

Week 37 - Christmas

Great holiday week with lots of photo opportunities, however, I left the camera in the during much of the holiday festivities...

Karen got me a fantastic Christmas gift:  a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.  A majority of the pictures this week were taken with this amazing lens.
